No. 02Volvo P1800 — Resto-mod, Candy Red
Chassis 23925owned by Tonja, commissioned by Ahmet
Full body and paint, plus in-depth body and trim modifications — a total one-off example. Panel seams and side trim removed for a smooth body, bumpers modified and shortened into a single piece from the factory's original three-piece setup, and window-scraper trim fitment matched to the door-handle trim gap. Finished in a custom three-stage Candy Red mix. Mechanical rebuild by Wilde Classics; custom interior by another firm, not yet named. Showcased at the NEC in both 2023 and 2024. A separate car from No. 01 above: both are Candy Red P1800s, confirmed distinct by David, 2026-09-11, after an earlier chassis-number mix-up. Not part of a pair — David confirmed, 2026-09-15, that the 'two P1800s, one client' story belongs to a different client entirely, still awaiting their show names and awards.

No. 04Bentley S3 Continental, 1963
Chassis BC66 XA
A finished restoration, professionally filmed, restored in 2021. A bare-metal repaint over hand-crafted, coachbuilt lower-body panels — no replacement panels exist for this model — finished to a consistent 4mm gap all round, with the panels blocked back ahead of five coats of lacquer, then sanded down through six grades and polished. The chrome was redone, the interior recolonised, and the hood retrimmed by SM Trimming. Showcased at the NEC in 2023. A second S3 — a different car, a different year — is in the workshop now. See No. 10, below.

No. 06Porsche 356 SC
Full body restoration and a minor mechanical rebuild. The photos here show the car as DPM finished its work, with the bodywork painted and polished. The customer then refitted the engine and trim himself to complete the build. Finished with some subtle modifications.

No. 07Aston Martin DB6 — the pink one
Crashed at La Carrera Panamericana, 2022. DPM repaired the body, including a new door fabricated in house, then finished the car in pink at the owner’s request — to stand out at the next race. Has not raced since, and is still due to.

Restoration in progressNo. 08Bentley S3, 1964
Chassis BC60 XCOver 1,000 hours of hand-crafted metalwork to date
Arrived showing a tough previous life, with years of poor repairs and serious corrosion beneath the paint. New inner wheel tubs, inner and outer sills on both sides and exterior quarter panels, all hand formed in house using traditional coachbuilding methods such as the English wheel. The shell has since been soda blasted, epoxy primed, levelled, and painted underneath and in the cockpit, and now awaits reuniting with the freshly restored chassis before final prep for paint. A different car from the finished Continental at No. 05.

Restoration in progressNo. 09Volvo P1800 — Pearl White
1,300 hours to dateNow in reassembly, after a full body rebuild and repaint
A 'drive in, drive out' commission that turned into a full restoration — a pre-purchase compression check found low compression, so a full engine rebuild came first. The shell was soda blasted back to bare metal, with new wheel tubs, inner wings, floor pans, chassis rails, jacking points and bulkhead fabricated in house, then levelled to 4mm panel gaps throughout ahead of a custom pearl-effect colour commissioned by the client. Also gets a single-piece bumper conversion, a power-steering conversion, and poly bushes with new bearings throughout — unique, no other example restored to this standard.

Volvo 262C
Chassis 2626AD006467
A very rare 262C, restored for a repeat client. A donor car from the USA gave a more solid base and many of the missing parts. The shell was blasted, with new arches and sills and the roof from the original shell, as the donor roof had suffered from moisture trapped under its vinyl roof. The engine was stripped and rebuilt in house, every component zinc plated, with the injection unit sent off for refurbishment. Fully rebuilt, and now going through shakedown tests.
