Full body and paint, plus in-depth body and trim modifications carried out to the owner's own brief — a total one-off example, not a repeat of any other car in the workshop.
The body itself was reworked for a smoother, cleaner line: panel seams and side trim were removed entirely, and the factory's original three-piece bumper setup was modified, shortened and converted into a single piece. The window-scraper trim was hand-fitted to match the gap of the door-handle trim, so the two read as a single deliberate line along the car's flank rather than two mismatched pieces of chrome. The finish is a custom three-stage Candy Red mix, built up in the booth rather than taken off the shelf.
The mechanical rebuild was carried out by Wilde Classics, with a custom interior built by another firm not yet named. The finished car has been shown at the NEC in both 2023 and 2024.
It shares its colour and model with the Candy Red P1800 elsewhere in this record, chassis 26282, but the two are confirmed distinct cars, not two records of the same one.

Bring us the car you are not willing to compromise on.
Ask for David Pearce-Martin. He would rather see a car than quote from photographs of one, so the first conversation usually ends with a date to bring it over. Dave, Ellis and Paul are who you will meet when you do.
